Spring is here and it is time to plant! Botany is back with native plugs for sale for the first time this spring. This sale will feature native plants with flowering interest in April for some added pops of color to your early spring garden. We will have a significant number of ephemeral options for the first time too! Sale runs from 10a-1p.

This class is a blend of plant propagation and plant styling. We'll discuss plant vs. vessel selection, the anatomy of the plant so you know where to cut, how a plant grows over time, and how to style plant cuttings so they become curated decor for your space. Attendees will be able to take home plant cuttings and a vessel. We’ll end with a Q&A to talk about any general plant care concerns or questions.

Repotting a plant can feel like a daunting task, especially if it's your first time. We'll cover everything you need to know when it comes to repotting your indoor plants in this hands-on workshop including pot size, soil quality, ingredients and additives, and how to evaluate root and soil health.

Are you someone who dislikes soil, pests, or has problems with remembering to water your plants? Hydroponic growing was made for you! Join us for our Hydroponic 101 workshop where we will talk about the different mediums you can use, how to transfer your plants from soil to water, and how to maintain care of your new hydroponic plant! We’ll end with a Q&A and attendees will leave with a cutting placed in the hydroponic medium of their choosing! $35 per person.

Explore the fascinating world of epiphytes in this hands-on workshop. Epiphytes are plants that grow without soil in the canopies of trees and the sides of cliffs. An easy way to display and grow these unique plants involves mounting them on a piece of wood or cork bark which is then hung on a wall to enjoy and grow. You'll create your own mounted piece and learn how to care for it.

Terrariums are magical! These tiny ecosystems grow harmoniously within elegant glassware and make a statement in any space. They come alive through plant styling as we fashion them into miniature landscapes through adding rocks, stone, driftwood, and other found objects. Included is three tropical plants, a glass container, and all materials and instructions needed to build your terrarium. $45 per person.

Wreaths aren't just for decoration around the holidays. In Ancient Greece wreaths originated as a way to exhibit hope for a fruitful harvest in the year to come. Create with us a wreath of Tillandsias and dried florals worthy of being hung as a wall centerpiece in your space to be enjoyed for many fruitful harvests to come. All supplies provided.

The vibrant colors and textures of the preserved moss make a perfect backdrop for these epiphytic wonder plants. Calling all gardeners! It may be winter, but that means it’s garden planning season! Saturday, January is National Seed Swap Day and we are hosting a free seed swap in Shop from 2-4p. Bring in any seeds you have left over from last year and swap them with other gardeners. You may find something fun and new! If you have questions about seeds or seed starting, a member of the Botany Team will be available to chat. Additional seeds, seed starting equipment and gardening tools will be available in the Shop for purchase.
